The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is a lay association of volunteer men and women that act out their faith commitment in service to one another and the needy of the community.
The works of the conference are to give person-to-person service, provision of temporary assistance in emergencies with funds donated from various resources, and referral to persons and/or agencies of individuals and families with more serious long term needs which are beyond the scope and resources of our conference. These works are administered primarily through the food pantry which is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 AM to Noon.
Meetings are held the first Monday of the month between September and May in Unit D.
The contact person is Karen McCarthy, c/o the parish office at 708-388-8190.
