Escuela de la Cruz

The School of the Cross (Escuela de la Cruz) is a movement that presents a response to the urgent need of the Church for mature laymen, leaders committed to announcing the message of salvation, especially in the most abandoned and trampled environment in Mexico: the peasants and workers.
Born in Tabasco, under the action of the Holy Spirit, on January 10, 1965, and spread first in Mexico, and later in other nations, it goes throughout the country and abroad, seeking:

Collaborate in and with the Church itself, generating communities of apostles, who communicate the spirit of the cross with their life and testimony, firstly to the spiritual order and, secondly, to the temporal order, constituting their members – lay men, Deacons, Priests and Bishops – a true unity, that encourages them mutually in their dedication to Christ and to be leaven, root and foundation for the Holy Spirit to raise up apostles in the people of God.

La Escuela de la cruz presenta una respuesta a la necesidad urgente que tiene la Iglesia de seglares maduros, líderes comprometidos en el anuncio del mensaje de salvación, especialmente en el medio más abandonado y pisoteado de México: los campesinos y obreros.
Nacida en Tabasco, bajo la acción del Espíritu Santo, el 10 de Enero de 1965,  y difundida primero en México, y posteriormente en otras naciones, va por toda la Patria y fuera de ella, buscando:          

Colaborar en y con la misma Iglesia, engendrando comunidades de apóstoles, que comuniquen el espíritu de la cruz con su vida y el testimonio, en primer lugar al orden espiritual y, en segundo lugar, al orden temporal, constituyendo sus miembros – varones laicos, Diáconos, Presbíteros y Obispos – una verdadera unidad, que los impulse mutuamente en su entrega a Cristo y a ser fermento, raíz y cimiento para que el Espíritu santo suscite apóstoles en el pueblo de Dios.
